Join us for an evening of poetry, community, and support for rescue parrots!

Former STAR volunteer Kristin Emanuel will celebrate the release of her debut poetry collection, Birdwatching in the 4th Dimension, during a special reading at the Bayer Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Kristin will be joined by fellow poet Amie Whittemore for an engaging evening of readings and discussion.

STAR St. Louis Avian Rescue is honored to be part of this event. Proceeds from sales of Kristin’s book, Birdwatching in the 4th Dimension, purchased at the event will be donated to STAR to support the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of parrots in need.

Representatives from STAR will also give a brief presentation about our mission and the impact community support has on the birds in our care.
